The order marks a significant milestone in the Kolkata-based company’s continued contribution to the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, which is poised to become the world’s largest renewable energy installation upon completion.

Vikram Solar has secured a 336 MW order from L&T Construction to supply high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) modules for deployment at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, the Kolkata-headquartered company said in a media statement on Monday.

The order marks a significant milestone in Vikram Solar’s ongoing contribution to the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, which is set to become the world’s largest renewable energy installation upon completion.

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its latest Hypersol G12R modules, based on N-type technology. These modules offer enhanced bifaciality of up to 80 per cent, improved high-temperature performance, and minimal year-on-year degradation of less than or equal to 0.4 per cent. Their deployment is expected to improve balance-of-system (BoS) efficiency and reduce the levelised cost of energy (LCOE), making solar power more cost-effective and scalable.

Gujarat continues to lead India’s renewable energy transformation, with the Khavda Renewable Energy Park setting global benchmarks in solar capacity deployment. The project also underscores Vikram Solar’s commitment to advancing India’s energy transition through technological innovation and consistent execution.

“We are delighted to contribute to this landmark project. The region holds immense potential for solar energy, and this project will play a pivotal role in harnessing that opportunity,” said Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar.

Earlier in May 2025, Vikram Solar secured a 326 MW module supply order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL) for the same energy park, reinforcing its position as a key technology partner in India’s solar expansion.
