The master plan and detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed Vizhinjam container terminal and international port project in Kerala was released by the state Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The first stage of the project is expected to cost around Rs 4,010 crore, out of which, VISL would spend Rs 3,040 crore on the creation of the basic infrastructure of the port.
