Chennai-based VA TECH WABAG, the world’s third-largest water management company, has secured a significant order from RenewSys India to deliver advanced water treatment solutions for its 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of an ultrapure water (UPW) system, effluent treatment plant (ETP), and a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) system. The project is scheduled for completion within 11 months, underscoring WABAG’s execution capabilities in high-precision industrial water infrastructure.
