The Jawaharlal Nehru port will part with 165 hectare of developed land to the project affected people around the port. People had been staging agitations for the past 20 years demanding for their piece of developed land under the scheme. The allotment of land will be under the State Government's guidelines on earmarking 12.5 per cent of the developed land.
