Kamdhenu Ispat hopes to clock 46 per cent jump in top-line to Rs 800 crore in 2013-14 on higher sales from steel business. Kamdhenu Ispat is into the manufacturing and marketing of TMT bars and decorative paints.
The company said on November 19 that it had Rs 547 crore turnover in the last fiscal and this year, it will be around Rs 800 crore.
Steel sector will drive the growth, Kamdhenu said. The paints division, where the company had forayed into in 2008 by setting up a plant near its steel mill at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan, would contribute around Rs 200 crore to the top-line compared to Rs 180 crore a year ago, he said.
The company stated that its margins, particularly from the steel business, is under stress.
