The metro rail line, that is expected to connect the Pandit Nehru Bus Station and Penamalur, will pass over the proposed flyover at Benz Circle at a height of 18 metres, said Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director NP Ramakrishna Reddy. He said that the cost of the first phase of the project was estimated to be Rs.6,823 crore and targeted to be completed by 2018.
