In order to provide the visitors a unique entertainment experience, the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) is set to come out with a draft of the proposed Marine Drive entertainment zone project. The proposed project pitches the idea of a ropeway connecting Marine Drive and Bolgatty Island. Also, the entertainment zone could begin from Rajendra Maidan and extend all the way to the end of the Marine Drive walkway. GCDA also suggested plans to set up a multi-level car parking facility near Marine Drive and provide affordable housing.
