Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract worth approximately Rs 108.8 crore by Power Grid. ¨Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract by PGCIL to supply ten 765 kV 500 MVA 1-ph auto transformers,¨ the company said in a statement. These will be installed at two locations, the 765kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) situated at Vemagiri, Andhra Pradesh and 765kV Air Insulated substation (AIS) at Vindhyachal, Uttar Pradesh, it said.
