GVK faces action over road project
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has served showcause notices for termination and debarment on GVK Transportation for failure to mobilise the needed money for the Rs 2,815-crore Shivpuri-Dewas project in Madhya Pradesh. The company was awarded the project in January 2012.
CIDCO to extend deadline to respond to RFQs
CIDCO, the nodal body overseeing the planned Navi Mumbai airport project, plans to extend the time for companies to respond to the request for qualifications (RFQs) for the project by more than a month. The date has been extended to 30 July from 18 June.
