Delhi Public Works Department Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan has stated that work on the Rao Tula Ram (RTR) Marg flyover in the city was progressing as per the plan. The Department is working on the detailed plan which will be submitted to Delhi Urban Arts Commission (DUAC). Once it clears it, the project will be sent to the Cabinet and the tender process will follow next, the Minister said.

‘Policy uncertainty hits growth of solar industry’
A clean energy consultancy firm Mercom Capital Group says that Indian solar sectorÂ’s growth continues at a slow pace amidst policy uncertainty and experimentation. Policy uncertainty is rife, with rules being changed every other month. Of the 1,761 mw installed base in the country, about 557 mw was installed so far in 2013 and several projects have been delayed.

Kerala govt to decide on Kochi flyovers within a fortnight
The Kerala government will soon decide on constructing flyovers at the extremely congested Vyttila, Palarivattom and Kundanoor junctions in Kochi city, the State Minister for Public Works VK Ebrahim Kunju said on May 27. The State Cabinet will decide it within a fortnight. As for the Edappally flyover, the DMRC is expected to begin work within four months and complete it within 18 months, he said, following a PWD review meeting held in Kochi on May 27.

Soma Enterprise heads for corporate debt restructuring
Sources say that Hyderabad-based Infrastructure company Soma Enterprise, which has a debt burden of around Rs 5,000 crore, is heading for corporate debt restructuring (CDR). Centre announces 3rd manufacturing zone for AP
The Union government on May 25 promised to approve a third National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) for Andhra Pradesh. The Centre has already approved the establishment of 12 NIMZs in the country - eight on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, two in AP and one each in Karnataka and Maharashtra, said the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma.
