Govt trying to accelerate EV uptake: Gadkari

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Nitin Gadkari on Monday said that the Central Government was aiming at creating core global competencies in India by facilitating the seamless integration of the local automotive industry with the world. In this direction, it was attempting to create an ecosystem to accelerate the uptake of electric vehicles in the country.

50% Subsidy on Air Transportation of Select Fruits & Veggies from NE, Himalayan States

Under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’s ‘Operation Greens: TOP to TOTAL Scheme’, 50 per cent transportation subsidy is now made available for air transportation for 41 notified fruits and vegetables from Northeastern and Himalayan states to any place in India, a release from the Ministry of Food Processing Industry (MOFPI) has said.
