The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) got the green light from the Railways to build road overbridges (ROBs) at three central railway stations in Mumbai. This will help streamline traffic flow in the busy pockets of the suburbs. An officer of the BMC's Bridges Department said on June 28 that the railways has said that it would cooperate with the BMC to construct three bridges at Vidyavihar, Vikhroli and Nahur railway stations.

Jharkhand Chief Minister BabulalMarandi on June 25 flagged off the first passenger train between Koderma and Nawadih on Koderma-Nawadih-Giridih railway track under Dhanbad division. Study cites disaster risks in Delhi metro rail system
