In Delhi, a project of concrete road for internal lanes of the Sector-II, DIZ area, Gole Market at MS Flats-Peshwa Road and J-Block, Mandir Marg was inaugurated by the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The work of DIZ Sector-II has begun and will be completed by May, 2014.

Hyd’s Outer Ring Road toll tax to be revised from April

Godrej calls for road link to Bangladesh, Myanmar, China
Better infrastructure is essential along the 3,000-km road link between India and the three South Asian countries-Bangladesh, Myanmar and China, said Adi Godrej, Godrej Group Chairman and CII president last week. Speaking to the media after flagging off the 12-day Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Forum for Regional Cooperation (BCIM) Car Rally in Kolkata, Godrej said road infrastructure should be improved since the link connecting these four countries was largely difficult terrain.
Vyttila-Pettah Road in Kochi to be widened soon
The Kerala government on February 24 granted sanction for the land acquisition for widening the Vyttila-Pettah Road and for shifting the Railway quarters in connection with the Kochi Metro rail work. Rail Budget proposes Rs 634 bn investment in FY14
