In Mumbai, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will go ahead with its original plan to build the flyover from Haji Ali-Girgaum Chowpatty. Now it will discard Mumbai Transformation Support UnitÂ’s (MTSU) plan for a shorter version of Peddar Road flyover covering only Cadbury Junction, said MSRDC.

NHAI to collect toll at Brahmarakootlu on NH 73
Stating that toll collected from commuters is for maintenance of the respective roads, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has stated that it would start collecting toll at Brahmarakootlu between Mangalore and BC Road from December 5. The NHAI has issued a notification to this effect.

Punjab to widen Sangrur-Khanouri road at Rs 600 cr
The Punjab government is to expand the 60 km long Sangrur-Khanouri road into four-lanes at Rs 600 crore, mainly to strengthen road connectivity with Delhi area for Malwa region in the state.
