To build a new port near Haldia in West Bengal, the Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) gave a contract to a consortium of city-based Concast Group and Hyundai Engineering of Korea. The new facility, planned to be operational in 30 months, is coming up at 10 km north of the Haldia port.
