In order to implement the Rs 88 billion Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) project through public-private partnership (PPP), the impleÂmenÂÂting authority shortlisted five consortia.
The authority, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), will implement the project on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The project will connect Sewri to Nhava on mainland.
The five consortiums include Cintra-Soma-Srei consortium, Gammon Infrastructure Projects-OHL Concessions-ÂGS Engineering consortium, GMR Infrastructure-L&T-Samsung C&T Corp consortium.
It also includes IRB Infrastructure Developers-Hyundai consortium and Tata Realty and Infrastructure-Autostrade Indian Infrastructure Development-Vinci Concessions Development consortium, MMRDA said in a statement.
These consortiums will now be provided with bid documÂents (request for proposal) once they are generally approved by the Central Government.
