The Delhi Gurgaon Super Connectivity Ltd (DGSCL), the company operating the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, has collected nearly Rs 900 crore from motorists. According to official figures submitted by the DGSCL, between February 2008 and July 2013, it collected only Rs 893 crore and NHAI got another Rs 77.5 crore as its share. NHAI officials, however, doubt the toll collection figure saying that the hand held devices used to collect toll at recently installed split plazas have not been integrated.

NHAI has issued termination notice to DGSCL amid several questions, controversies and disputes between the NHAI, DGSCL and lenders.

However the biggest sufferer is the commuter due to the squabble between the agencies. DGSCL has challenged the termination notice in the Delhi high court and there have been 12 hearings since March this year.
