José Ruiz Hernandez is a civil engineer, also holding an MBA degree with an experience of over 15 years in the infrastructure and construction industry. Currently, he is holding the position of Managing Director in Isolux Corsan India, having previously held the position of EPC Director of India, Middle East and South East Asia within the group in areas such as Infrastructure (Civil Works and Buildings), Transmission and Distribution (High Voltage Power Lines), Energy (Generation, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energies) and Environment (Water Cycle Infrastructure). At Isolux Corsan, Jose Ruiz Hernandez is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business with particular emphasis on business development. Prior to joining Isolux, he has been associated with companies like FCC Construction where he has performed in several roles in the international environment. From 2012 till August 2013, Jose Ruiz was Director of the Major Project Management Control department in FCC Group (Alpine BAU GmbH), controlling over 92 biggest projects in the company all over the world with the target of improving the situation through claim management, negotiations with clients, risk evaluation, analysis of scenarios. He has also worked with Alpine, Austria where he performed the role of Director of the major project management control department. Jose Ruiz has been responsible for the operation of such big and important projects as the PPP Enniskillen Hospital Project in UK (325 MM€),), the International Broadcaster Centre for the Olympic Games in London or the Baross ter Building Offices in Hungary. In Spain, he had a successful career as Contract Director in many Projects, being the trust person for all the infrastructure and building projects developed for the Real Madrid football club for five years. Jose Ruiz Hernandez holds an executive MBA degree from Instituto de Empresa and has completed his Masters in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has an extensive international experience of having worked in the Middle East, Ireland, UK, Rumania, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, France etc.
