Essars Mahan I to be ready this fiscal

Essar Power is planning to commission the second unit (600 MW) of the Mahan I project this fiscal. The company has an installed generation capacity of 3,910 MW. The 1,200-MW Mahan I plant is located in Madhya Pradesh and the first unit was commissioned in April 2013. Once the plant is fully operational, the companys total generation capacity would cross 4,500 MW. The remaining 1,200 MW under execution may come up in the next two years.
