The Civil Aviation Ministry has identified 24 airports for the development of domestic air cargo terminals. The governments plan calls for the creation of a national logistics network for the faster movement and clearance of goods. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has earmarked cargo terminals at airports, including Coimbatore, Trichy and Mangalore for development.
