Essel Group, a leading business conglomerate, has presented the Green Energy Commitment Certificate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to generate 12,000 MW of renewable energy with a planned investment of over Rs 75,000 crore over the next 5 years. The group has expressed intent to develop clean energy projects in India. Essel group will set up 7,500 MW of solar power, 4,000 MW of wind energy and 500 MW of Waste to Energy projects in the country. The energy projects will attract investments with an aim to create sustainable economic growth and meet the green energy requirement of the country.
