J&K Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Kumar Singh has said the two power projects mentioned in the common minimum programme of the PDP-BJP coalition will be reclaimed by the state government. With Power Development Department (PDD) facing financial crisis, the state government is mulling to ask the government of India for return of NHPC owned hydroelectric power projects to J&K which was mutually agreed upon in the CMP. Singh said he will be framing a policy for PDD so that J&K would be able to sell out the power to other states.
