Karnataka government is to take up road repairs and maintenance work every five years once instead of 15 years once that was in practice hitherto, the Karnataka State Road Development Corporation (KSRDC) has said. According to the Managing Director of KSRDC BH Anil Kumar, reforms in the Public Works Department would ensure that roads were constructed in a more scientific manner.
