The Kerala government has decided to allow mobile telecom service providers to set up towers on government land and buildings.
This is the first time that a State government is throwing open its own land, buildings and offices to mobile companies. And, if copied by other States, it will expand mobile connectivity and improve the quality of mobile conversations.
