Issues such as construction of the Phaltan-Baramati track, double-lining of Pune-Miraj-Londha track and measurement of land owned by railways in Kolhapur were raised during the divisional meeting of the Central Railway in Pune recently.
The officials said that strong opposition to land acquisition is the major hindrance to the construction of the Phaltan-Baramati line.
