MEP Infrastructure Developers has bagged two projects from National Highways Authority of India for collection of toll for a year at Surjapur Toll Plaza in West Bengal and Dasna Toll Plaza in Uttar Pradesh, the company said.
For the Surjapur Toll Plaza project, the company will collect toll for a year and has to pay NHAI `42.03 crore, to be remitted on weekly basis. The amount payable for the Dasna Toll Plaza to NHAI is `28.08 crore.
´We are delighted to get awarded two toll collection projects from NHAI out of which we had operated Dasna Toll plaza in the recent past. Prior to these two new projects, we have added six projects during this fiscal comprising of five short term toll collection projects awarded by NHAI & RIDCOR,´ said Jayant D Mhaiskar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director.
