The first phase of the proposed Rs 14,500-crore global airport at Navi Mumbai would be ready by December 2018, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) of Maharashtra Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Bhatia said. The settlement of disputes with almost all villages for smooth land acquisition was CIDCO’s priority. The agency is developing a 600-sq m township for the airport, he added. Rs 20,000 crore for the nodes managed by it in Navi Mumbai.
