Projects worth Rs.8,000 cr under Navi Mum smart city plan
The smart city plan of Navi Mumbai will include projects worth Rs.8,000 crore. A major chunk of that-amounting to around Rs.6,000 crore-will involve various development projects by the civic body, another Rs.1,000 crore for projects by Cidco and Rs.250 crore to be worked out by MSEDCL.

Navi Mumbai airport by Dec 2018
The first phase of the proposed Rs 14,500-crore global airport at Navi Mumbai would be ready by December 2018, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) of Maharashtra Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Bhatia said.
CIDCO to extend deadline to respond to RFQs
CIDCO, the nodal body overseeing the planned Navi Mumbai airport project, plans to extend the time for companies to respond to the request for qualifications (RFQs) for the project by more than a month. The date has been extended to 30 July from 18 June.
Pre-bid meeting for Navi Mumbai airport
About 20 companies participated at the pre-bid conference for the Navi Mumbai International Airport project. This was the first meeting after the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) had floated the request for qualification (RFQ) for the proposed airport.
