By September 2013, ONGC plans to begin oil and gas production from G-1 marginal field, the first deepsea asset in Krishna-Godavari basin off Andhra coast. In September 2011, the firm began production from the neighbouring GS-15 field and G-1 field was to start output in July 2012 but the production was delayed.
