‘Think Odisha CSR Award – 2013Â’ has been conferred on Paradip Port Trust (PPT). The award has been constituted by TeflaÂ’s and The Times of India. Sudhansu Sekhara Mishra, Chairman, Paradip Port Trust, received the award from Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha at the 6th edition of ‘CSR awards and Think Odisha leadership.Â’ recently.
A jury adjudged PPT for the award by considering the present infrastructure improvement, connectivity and state-of-the-art facilities installed in the port, which has contributed to the economic growth of the State of Odisha. Apart from its pioneering efforts in health, education, community development and environmental protection, the cargo handling ability of Paradip Port had recently gone up to 106 million metric tonne per annum (MMTPA), which is the highest amongst all the Major Ports of the country.
