Proposed policy on auction of coal linkages to power sector will take two to three months,’ Coal and Power Minister Piyush Goyal told reporters. ‘We’re working jointly with the Coal Ministry for a robust policy that will be most transparent and fair for all consumers. This will bring in greater degree of affordability to the consumers and will ensure that everybody has equal opportunity to participate,’ he added. In February, CCEA had approved allocation of coal linkages for non-regulated sectors only through auction.
