Punj Lloyd has bagged three oil and gas orders, aggregating Rs 645 crore in India, Oman and Indonesia. Occidental’s Rs 323 crore entails construction of a water treatment plant in Oman. The water treatment plant will generate steam to be injected into (Occidental’s) oilfields in Mukhaizna to extract oil. The scope of work also includes upgradation of the central processing facilities. The second order is worth Rs 271 crore, awarded by Pertamina of Indonesia, for construction of three well-head platforms and laying three segments of offshore gas pipeline. The third order is from GAIL (India), costing Rs 51 crore. Besides augmentation of GAIL’s existing Vijapur-Kota pipeline, it is to lay 112 km long pipeline from Vijaipur (Madhya Pradesh) to Boreri (Rajasthan). The project has a contractual completion deadline of six months.
