Punjab government has decided to improve road connectivity and would spend Rs 3,080 crore to convert all highways in the state into 4/6 lanes by January 2016.
For this the State government is inviting more investors, the government said on July 10.
The government officials said that work on nearly 398.9 km long stretch is going on in full swing and would be completed by January 2016. Six laning of 230 km national highways have already been done in the last five years, the said.
