During the April-December 2012-13, freight loading by South Eastern Railway (SER) rose 4.56 per cent to 92.16 million tonne (mn t) as against 88.14 mn t during the year-ago period. Till December 2012, the performance of SER surpassed the target laid down by Railway Board. The division loaded 5.75 mn t more than the Railway Board target, an increase of 6.65 per cent.
