Pankaj Jha, South Asia Marketing Manager, Perkins India is responsible for leading Perkins marketing activities to build the brand and drive sales growth; supporting and working alongside distributors and OEMs with a focus on the 4000 Series, and strengthening Perkins position in the wider region. In his new role, will report to Nigel Baseley, Marketing Director, and will oversee the company´s Indian marketing operations.
He will be responsible for leading Perkins marketing activities to build the brand and drive sales growth; supporting and working alongside distributors and OEMs with a focus on the 4000 Series, and strengthening Perkins position in the wider region. Perkins is now in a quest to further raise brand visibility in the Southern India region and is considering this move as a part of its continued commitment to leverage joint expertise in the areas of power solutions for the Electric Power sector. Jha also considers India to be a key market for Perkins.
Jha joined Perkins with a notable experience of over 11 years of progressive management level experience in strategy, growth analysis, due diligence, marketing and product development, having worked in the areas of policy, commercial vehicle technology, market development and business development.
He is an alumnus of Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA with a Masters degree in Business Administration.
He also holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, USA as well as a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India from where he graduated with distinction and ranked in the top 10 per cent of the graduating class. Apart from being an accomplished professional, he enjoys playing field hockey and badminton.
