Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu has launched Indian Railway Knowledge Portal, www.kportal.indianrailways.gov.in. This portal is an aggregation of information, with links to resources of the Indian Railways, for the purpose of dissemination of knowledge, innovations and best practices. The initiative is in line with the Digital India campaign and in line with the thinking of the Minister that the training and learning environment of Indian Railways be upgraded for the benefit of Railway personnel.
