Better road connectivity key to development: Governor
For overall development of Arunachal Pradesh better road connectivity is essential in the state, the State Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma emphasised. Jindal Power projects in Arunachal face hindrances
In Arunachal Pradesh, the three hydro power projects of more than 5,000 mw capacity, undertaken by Naveen JindalÂ’s Jindal Power (JPL), are likely to take at least 10 more years to get commissioned. Arunachal’s Sekong village gets road under PMGSY

Foundation laid for PMGSY’s longest road in Arunachal
Foundation was laid for the longest stretch of road built under the Prime Minister's Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) from Miao to Vijaynagar in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh on February 19. Union Minister for Rural Development JairamRamesh laid the foundation. The 157-km road, which will be built under the PMGSY will pass through the Namdapha National Park and is scheduled to be completed within the next three years.
