Ashoka Buildcon has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project with the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. The project, which pertains to rural electrification works under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana as well as strengthening of the power distribution network under a special plan for Vaishali district in Bihar, will cost Rs 373.39 crore.

Ashoka Buildcon consortium bags Karnataka road project
A consortium of Ashoka Buildcon and GVR Infra Projects (51:49) has bagged a Rs 318-crore road project from the Karnataka government. The project involves improvement of 110 km of stretch. The consortium (51:49) had submitted bid for the project involving design, build, finance, operate, maintain and transfer (DBFOMT) of the state highway from Mudhol to Maharashtra Border.
Govt hopeful to award big highway projects soon

TN to award contract for phase-II of Chennai ORR
To construct phase-II of Chennai Outer Ring Road, from Nemilichery to Minjur, the Tamil Nadu government has recently given its nod to a consortium of Ashoka Buildcon and GVR Infra Projects. Work on phase-I of the ORR, from Vandalur to Nemilichery, is nearing completion. On completion, the 61.65-km-long road will form a semicircle around the city and help decongest Chennai’s roads. It will act as a major link and connect four national highways — NH 4, NH 5, NH 45 and NH 205.
