The Order Book Chase
Total order backlog of the engineering and construction firms was Rs.8.1 trillion at the end of FY18. Of the whole order backlog, almost 62 per cent was contributed by the construction companies, followed by 24 per cent of capital goods companies catering to the energy industry.
Bharatmala has a realistic vision to improve roads
About 24,800 km of road projects are to be developed over the next five years between 2017-18 and 2021-22 under the ambitious Bharatmala Programme.

The Economic Intelligence Unit, based on a report on the 'Safe Cities Index 2017,' said the global economy is projected to grow at about 2.9 per cent in 2017 as against 2.3 per cent in 2016. The report also cited India to continue to grow at over 7 per cent over the next decade.
