The Delhi High Court has asked Delhi Development Authority to apprise the court of the Chandni Chowk development plan authenticated by the Urban Development Ministry. The Government of Delhi has informed the court that a proposal to make main road in Chandni Chowk free from motorised traffic is approved.

Petrol price drops by Rs 1.15 a litre
On the eve of Diwali, petrol is cheaper by Rs 1.38 per litre from November 1, but diesel is costlier by 56 paise per litre in Delhi.
