Kochi Metro to run on Dec 31: Chandy
The Kerala Government has full faith in´Metro Man´ E Sreedharan, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said after some legislators expressed doubt over Metro projects in the capital and in Kozhikode.
LMRC underground work to begin by Dec
The construction of Luckno´s first ever underground Metro corridor from Charbagh to K D Singh Babu Stadium will begin from December this year, said E Sreedharan, Principal Advisor to LMRC (Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation).

E Sreedharan, who has been known for his role in development of Konkan Railway, Delhi Metro Rail and other rail related developments, suggested that the Centre should set up a Metro Rail Finance Corporation (MRFC) to arrange funding for the Metro rail developments in the country.

On his last official working day in Delhi Metro, E Sreedharan was busy helping Chennai Metro learn key lessons.Counted as one the best technocrat managers, the country has had, the 79-year old Sreedharan will hand over the reins of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), to his successor and colleague Mangu Singh, on Saturday evening. Singh oversaw the implementation of high-speed Airport Express line.
