Initial procedures for the flyover work at Edappally junction in Kochi has commenced. The landmarking procedures for the Edappally flyover construction has been started by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
According to DMRC, it has already started earmarking the area in and around the Edappally junction for the four-lane flyover construction.

In Kolkata, the flyover that links Belghoria Expressway with Jessore Road to National Highway 2 and NH 6 was indefinitely closed to traffic on June 11 afternoon after a big chunk of concrete caved in, leaving a gaping hole on the west-bound flank. Work starts on flyover in Lucknow near ex-CM’s house
Work has started on a flyover at Mall Avenue, which had raised the hackles of BSP supremo Mayawati as it would pass near her residence and party office. The flyover, to be constructed by Uttar Pradesh Bridges Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 40 crore, would be 15 m wide, 650 m long and would be completed in 15 months, official sources said. In Chennai, work to construct a 1.3 km-long flyover crossing three junctions in Thiruvanmiyur is likely to commence by September. According to the proposal, the flyover will cross the Jayanthi-Theyagaraja theatres junction, the one after the Marundeeswarar temple and the RTO office.
