The HSIIDC and CFLD have formed a JV to develop an industrial township in around 1,500 acres of land, spread across Sohna and Manesar in the Gurgaon district, Haryana. The township will cost about Rs.33,595 crore.

Airport metro extension
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) may consider extending the airport metro corridor to IFFCO Chowk in Gurgaon so that the ridership as well as property development revenue of the line can be boosted. The proposal has been made by the Urban Development Ministry.

Re-carpeting of MG Road in Gurgaon to end in 6 months
The Haryana Public Works Department (PWD) has stated that the re-carpeting and re-construction of MG Road in Gurgaon will be completed within six months. The heavy vehicular traffic on the stretch was delaying the work, PWD authorities said. The work was taken up last month when Gurgaon and Delhi surburbs were witnessing heavy rains.
No green nod needed for widening road in Gurgaon
In Gurgaon, the District Pollution Control Board has ruled out the need for an environmental clearance for the widening of the road connecting the Ambience Mall to sectors 55 and 56. The pollution control board had submitted an affidavit in this regard to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on July 10 after the latter issued a directive that an environment clearance was mandatory from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF).
