Aranmula airport project gets nod from Centre
In Kerala, the private sector KGS Aranmula International Airport has received the crucial Ćāin-principle approvalĆā of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation. The approval is effective from September 4, 2012. PT Nandakumar, Executive Director of the airport company, said that this is the final clearance granted by the steering committee of the Ministry chaired by Secretary, Civil Aviation.

IOC, BPCL to make Kerala an LPG surplus state
To make Kerala a surplus liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) state by 2015, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) Kochi Refinery have taken up projects. The projects, being undertaken by the two State-owned companies are expected make available about 1,700 tmt (thousand metric tonnes) of LPG in the state.
Kochi’s road curve eased at Poojarivalavu
In Kochi city on the Seaport-Airport Road, the Roads and Bridges Corporation, Kerala (RBDCK) is set to inaugurate a four-lane 250 metre stretch in the area. Explaining the work carried out on the road, RBDC-K Managing Director APM Muhammed Haneesh said that it was not a straightening of the curve, but carried out the work of easing the curve.
Security to be upgraded in Beypore port
Kerala's second largest port in Kerala Beypore port is all set for a major security upgrade. The move follows the recent audit of port security done at the port to ensure compliance with established security protocols. Kochi is the largest port in the state.
Work on Angadippuram ROB to begin soon
