Nashik Phata flyover to be inaugurated on 22 January
After six monthsÂ’ delay, the much-awaited two-tier Nashik Phata flyover in Pune is finally expected to be inaugurated on 22 January 2014. The flyover is the first-of-its-kind project in India crossing the Pavana river at 206 m and rail overbridge (ROB) at 110 m.Built at an investment of around Rs 140 crore, the flyover is well connected to the IT hub at Hinjawadi and the upcoming Chakan airport.

Dalpatpur-Dasna highway in UP has 4 toll plazas
There are four toll plazas set up on the stretch of National Highway (NH-24) between Dalpatpur (Moradabad) to Dasna (Gaziabad) in Uttar Pradesh. Toll Plazas were established accordingly so as to ensure that there is no revenue loss to the government.
Nagaland road stretch on NH 29 to shut for BRO work
In Nagaland, the Phesama and Kisama stretch of National Highway (NH)-29 would be completely cut off for a week starting August 2 as Border Road Organisation (BRO) has decided to give its serious effort to completely restore the stretch. The same stretch of the road near Kisama, Naga Heritage village cut off due to a massive landslide on July 12 but it was open for some time for small vehicles.
CCEA likely to clear national highway project in Rajasthan
Under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-IV, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs is likely to accord final approval for development of a National Highway in Rajasthan soon. Final approval is likely for the selected sub-project approved by Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) for the development of two laning with paved shoulders of Uniara, Nainwa, Hindoli, Jahanpur, Shahpura, Gulabpura section of National Highway NH-148D in Rajasthan, sources said.
