Kochi civic body to approach NHAI for flyover designs
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will be approached by the Kochi Corporation and ask it for designs of flyovers planned at Edappally, Vyttila and Palarivattom junctions in the city limits. NHAI’s highway norms not practical, says Kerala
The National Highway Authority of India prescribed norms were the main constraint for highway development, said VK Ebrahim Kunju, Kerala Minister for Public Works. He told this in the State Assembly that the authority had insisted on acquiring equal space on either sides of a stretch to suit road geometrics.

The Chandigarh-Mandi-Manali National Highway will soon be upgraded to four lane, Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has announced.
