NTPC achieved the largest single day generation of 733.12 million units on August 27. The generation was from its 18 coal-based plants, seven gas-based and eight solar and hydro stations. The cumulative capability of the stations was 91.10 per cent and plant load factor was 86.34 per cent.
BHEL starts NTPCs 800-MW Koldam plant
State-owned BHEL said it has commissioned NTPCĂ´s 800-MW Koldam hydro power project in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, which is capable of generating approximately 3,054 GWH annually.
