Paradip Port Trust (PPT) will have a 51 per cent stake in the heavy haul rail corridor proposed by Indian Port Rail Corporation Ltd (IPRCL). The corridor would connect Salegaon (Maharashtra) with Paradip port.

Government resolves land dispute with Paradip Port
A 50-year-old land dispute between Odisha government and Paradip Port Trust has been resolved with the government agreeing to alienate nearly 6285.58 acres in favour of the port and retain only 597 acres in four revenue villages within the port limits. Though the state government had handed over the port to the central government in 1965, the formal land transfer could not be effected on technical grounds.

For setting up an offshore LNG terminal at Paradip Port in Orissa coast at a cost of Rs 3,108 crore, India's largest state-owned natural gas distributor GAIL (India) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Paradip Port Trust (PPT). The proposed 'Floating Storage Regasification Unit' will have an initial capacity of four million tonne per annum (mtpa).
