The Centre has informed the Patna High Court that the dilapidated Mahatma Gandhi Setu will be totally revamped within 42 months and a new four-lane bridge, parallel to it, will be put in place in due time.

Rainwater water gushes into homes as road level raised
The Patna high court has on May 16 asked the Bihar Urban Development Department to identify the PCC roads laid with higher concrete top than their original level in violation of a court order. The court had directed the government to maintain the original level of the roads during the road construction.
