During this financial year, Pradip Port Trust (PPT) targets to export 5.5 million tonne iron ore, including about 1.5 million tonne iron pellets. This is 300 per cent more than the 1.8 million tonne iron ore exports recorded by the port last year.

Paradip port to launch shipment of marine products shortly
Pradip Port Trust (PPT) will start shipments of marine products from this September-end. This has been conveyed by the PPT Chairman Sudhanshu Shekhara Mishra to the Gorachand Mohanty, president, Seafood Exporters Association of India, Odisha region. PPT has assured marine exporters extension of all facilities, including a designated container yard for handling marine products and refrigerated container cargo.
